Congratulation message to HE Mnangagwa

Zimbabwe Youth Council, youth associations, organizations and all the young people of Zimbabwe would like to congratulate President elect Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangangwa for being elected as the president of Zimbabwe. We cherish your wisdom and involvement in the youth sector. We believe that your Excellency will lead the youth of Zimbabwe to obtain greater  achievements in nation building during your presidency particularly in achieving a middle class economy by 2030.

As the Zimbabwe Youth Council we believe that your Excellency will lead the young people of Zimbabwe dreams your tenure. As Zimbabwe Youth Council and all our youth associations, clubs and organizations we encourage all young people not to be used by political parties and engage in violence.

Recently young people were being incited by some political parties to demonstrate and cause violence .As Zimbabwe Youth Council we want to encourage young people not to be used as the end of the day they are the ones being affected.

As Zimbabwe Youth Council, we were observers in 7 provinces during the elections and we believe that the elections were free and fair, there were no incidence of violence and no people were intimidated before and during the elections.

On 12 August we will commemorate International Youth Day, Zimbabwe Youth Council and those into youth development will launch a massive cleanup campaign in Harare before we cascade to provinces and districts. We encourage   all stakeholders in the environment and health sectors to take part in this noble cleanup campaign.

As ZYC through affiliate youth associations, we are going to adopt to a street or road in each provincial capital cities which we are going to clean each time we do youth related commemorations  and we hope to have our cities clean and free from violence.

As you are aware, Empowerbank was recently launched by HE, let me take this opportunity to invite young entrepreneurs for a capacity building training with the bank officials this week.
