Zimbabwe Youth Council attended and exhibited at the inaugural Youth Expo event on the 12th of October 2017. The Expo was organized by Ministry Of Youth Indigenization and Economic Empowerment in partnership with National AIDS Council.
The Expo was meant to give youth a platform to showcase their talents and products in different sectors of economy, arts and culture.
A number of youth attended the event from different social, cultural and political backgrounds present in one spirit.
Mr E Murinda the Guest of honour gave his remarks immediately after a staggering performance from a ZimCHEER nominee Freeman, a youthful and energetic Zimdancehall artist who is currently making a living from his musical talent.
In his remarks Mr Murinda highlighted that the government is in full support of young people’s ideas and businesses. He said the Ministry of youth Indigenization and Economic Empowerment is establishing a lending facility for young people with bankable ideas in form of a bank .He went on to say that the bank will be giving cheap and flexible loans to young Zimbabweans with viable business projects.
